we had 10 of our guys go into work last month (September) and already have another 4 starting in October, plus a few interviews on the cards.
All down to hard work, targeted CV's and the right attitude.

Blog is back

Sorry haven't blogged for a while, been so busy!

Plenty of people signing up to get back to work in Plymouth.

Have met some lovely people very eager to get our support. We're all getting swamped writing quality CV's but it's worth it when people get those interviews!

Only 2 jobs on the jobcentre website in Plymouth today, time to get writing some speculative letters!

Employment Trend

Good news everybody, according to Careers South West's Labour Market Information,
the percentage of the workforce in both Public services and hotels and restaurants has shot up in the last year.

Plymouth although not recession proof is showing that trends are there to be bucked!

Public/Private Sector

It seems that with the recently announced government cuts that the public sector will be holding off on recruiting in the near future, it would appear that the private sector is the way to go with regard to growth and job prospects.

Of course there is always the self employed option, we are already working with a few dedicated self employment organisations and the message is that if you're willing to work hard and you have a good idea, all the support is in place to make it happen, you've just got to make that leap!
